Mark Blazek
President & CEO
Mark Blazek has served as CIO, CTO, and CISO spanning startups to Fortune 100 organizations – one of a small number of executives in the country who has held all three roles at the enterprise level. His career spans 25 years of technology and security leadership at institutions that demand the highest standards of performance: USAA, IBM, Compaq/Hewlett Packard, Texaco, and Ascend Federal Credit Union.
At USAA, one of the most technology-advanced financial institutions in the United States, Mark led technology strategy and execution for an organization serving millions of military members and their families, operating under some of the most rigorous regulatory and security requirements in the financial services industry. That experience, combined with enterprise-scale leadership at IBM and Compaq/HP, forged a depth of CIO and CISO expertise that most mid-market institutions cannot access through a full-time hire.
Mark is a named inventor on a U.S. patent, an active conference speaker on technology leadership and cybersecurity strategy, and a board member advising organizations on technology governance. He holds a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston and an M.S. in Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas at Austin.
